Yes, and the fact that they were brought up thinking that any contact

with strangers is a bad thing and they may be abducted. It`s sad when

you see how the younger group has largely lost the ability to

effectively and outwardly communicate.

It`s darn hard to see someone in any Corvette wave at you when their

windows are rolled up. But, I do and I look at everyone I see to see if

they wave. My experience has been that most do if they see you.

That`s interesting Ric because my experience has been largely the same

from behind the wheel of my `63. C6 & C5 owners and to a lesser extent

C4 owners give me the impression that they are waiting to see if I give

them the wave first.

Ric, are you running a stock engine in your C4?

??? What? Are you letting Dad drive it? <lol>

Dad, them`s fighting words.

I`ll meet you out behind the woodpile at 12:00 high.

Bring a sandwich, we`ll do lunch.

Any day you want to take a ride in a 15 year old car that`ll still do

175mph *all*day*long*, just let me know.

You know, I`ve noticed a little shaking when I take my ZR1 4 wheeling,

but I`ve never had a problem when I drive it on the street.

4 wheeling, get it? That`s funny.

I`ve only had my Z for about 8 months, and she`s my first `Vette.

Every time I get behind the wheel, it`s like I`ve never driven it

before. I`ve still not been able to wipe the smirk off of my face.

I`ll be sure to keep the back end of my car polished and clean so that

you`ll recognize a ZR1. It`s the only view you`ll ever get.

Here`s my wave... ////
