I would look ar removal of the throttle body for a complete cleaning.
Do not try to do it on the car. Just for grins, I would also replace
the throttle position sensor and set it properly with a digital
voltmeter. Neither if these tasks are very complicated.

Hi all. I am looking to buy my first vette. I would like to know if
anyone has driven a 91 and a 92 and could tell me if it is worth the
extra money for the newer engine.
Thanks,
Al

A lot of us had those same questions when we were looking for C4`s
My advice would be to find the "your" perfect car then worry about the
engine...
From my "tests"... lol
The L98 "feels" stronger off the line... but it runs out of breath
pretty quick....and you can feel it. stop breathing.
The LT1 on the other hand sees to be a little weaker off the
line...but it can breath well even at higher rpms...so the car "pulls"
a lot stronger then the L98...
The LT4 engine is a winner in my opinion...Honest it felt stronger
then any of the LS1`s I drove but I could not find a 96 that I liked
at the price I wanted to pay...(same old story)
I ended up (back in 1998 with a Black on Black 6 so 95) with an LT1
engine, and I have absolutely no compaints...except that it was not an
LT4 or a Grand Sport....
Glad you are looking to buy your 1st Corvette....I bet it will not be
your last

Touched down this afternoon in Atlanta Georgia. I’m here for this weekend’s Obsession Fest at the Atlanta Dragway hosted by Obesssion Car Club. I went right to work and shot Edgar’s 64 Impala from Obsession Car Club. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend!
I shot this on the way to the photoshoot.

One of the outakes from the photoshoot.
