I have an 88 L98 that run real poorly or not at all. I checked the ignition,

fuel pressure and injectors and they seem to be fine. I did notice one big

problem, the vacuum at idle is only 10 in of Hg and at part throttle is low

too. Any hints on how to find the vacuum leak or other problem that is

causing this?

Thanks,

With the engine running, take a mechanic`s stethoscope and listen for

leaks around the throttle body, plenum gaskets, EGR valve and any

other place where you might think that there might be a vacuum

connection or leak.
