the L48 has a two bolt main the L82 has a 4 bolt main. The L82 is a slightly

better made engine and had more hp. To be honest though the old Vette

engines left a lot to be desired in the HP dept. I had two L48 Vettes (a 77

and a 80) they drove fine and were OK cars. If you plan on hot rodding the

car the L82 is a better engine to start from. If I remember correctly the

L82 had better connecting rods and better crank too.

My 79 L82 is rated at 225hp the same year L48 is rated at 195. Also the L82

has aluminum intake and valve covers a Double snorkle air breather a 4 bolt

main and a different camshaft. Roger

Title: A BMW inspired by Usain Bolt's trainers?
Date: Fri, 25 Sep 2009 14:20:10 +0000
Author: dhenztm

Well, maybe.  Presenting the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics: a car that’s at par with Toyota Prius 2010 in terms of emission, lowest drag coefficient of any BMW car at 0.22, and killer looks that looks a bit like a trainer:

Doesnt it look like a trainer shoe?

Doesn't it look like a trainer shoe?

I know it has nothing to do with running but won’t you agree that this cool car is such an eye-candy?

Title: Saturn Sing-along
Date: Fri, 25 Sep 2009 00:28:45 +0000
Author: typehype

Here’s the story / of Suzy’s Saturn / which was on the market ready to be sold

All the problems it was having  / annoyed it’s owner / most of all, that it was old

It’s a story / of a girl named Angela / who was forced to live in her parents’ home

They were three people / living all together / yet they were all alone

Till the one day when Angie met Miss Suzy / Then she knew the Saturn perfectly met her needs

That she wanted to park that car in her driveway  / About that time, the Saturn began to overheat
